ABOUT THE ARTISTS

Award winning bassist and composer Michael Feinberg “a musical prodigy turned evil genius” (Spinner) has become one of the leading voices of his generation. With 10 albums under his belt Feinberg’s work has been described as “punchy and unrelenting” (Ottawa Citizen) and his playing as having “high gloss tone, muscualr technique and an imperious send of time” (Jazzwise).

Feinberg has appeared with a who’s who of today’s jazz scene including Jon Batiste, Aaron Parks, Billy Hart, Melanie Charles, Emmet Cohen, Melissa Aldana, Lee Ritenour and Jeff Tain Watts. Feinberg’s 2023 release Blues Variant was selected as one of the years best by Downbeat Magazine and he is touring this summer to support his newest release Crystalize.
