Embark on a musical journey with Richard Strauss’ “Ein Heldenleben” (A Hero’s Life), a symphonic poem that paints a vivid portrait of heroism, passion, and triumph. Through lush orchestrations and soaring melodies, Strauss takes listeners on a journey, from the hero’s valiant exploits to moments of tender reflection and ultimate victory. “Ein Heldenleben” stands as a testament to Strauss’ mastery of orchestral storytelling, captivating audiences and will leave you spellbound with its power and emotional depth. Returning to the stage, New York Philharmonic Principal Clarinetist Anthony McGill will perform a World Premiere concerto written by Gabe Kahane.
