Concertmaster Rimma Bergeron-Langlois takes the stage to perform Dvořák’s Violin Concerto blending artistry and musical excellence. Dvořák’s work demands technical mastery and emotional depth from the violin with its soaring melodies and tender lyricism that will display Rimma’s profound musical talents and heroism. Guest Conductor Alejandro Gómez Guillén will conduct Elgar’s stirring Enigma Variations, Montgomery’s “Strum,” and Akiho’s “Petroglyphs.” The musicians of the Philharmonic are sure to leave you inspired and under a captive spell.
