ABOUT THE SHOW

Grammy-nominated percussionist Sammy Figueroa has played on more than 400 albums and worked with music legends including Miles Davis, Quincy Jones, David Bowie, Chaka Khan, Sonny Rollins and George Benson. One of the most respected percussionists in jazz and Latin music, he was even featured in Miles Davis’s autobiography.

His latest album, Searching For a Memory (Busco Tu Recuerdo), earned a Latin Grammy nomination and celebrates the rich traditions of Latin jazz and Afro-Cuban music.

From congas to bongos, sway to a joyful beat with when this jazz master and his band return to our intimate music lounge.
