TERMS & CONDITIONS STANDARD TICKETS & SUBSCRIPTIONS

Ticket Terms & Conditions

  1. This ticket is a revocable license, subject to all terms, conditions and policies established by Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts. Such license may be revoked without refund for noncompliance with these Terms & Conditions Standard Tickets & Subscriptions. Any conduct deemed by Dr. Phillips Center, in its reasonable discretion, to be disorderly or disruptive shall automatically terminate the holder's license hereunder.

  2. Ticket holder assumes any and all risks occurring before, during, or after the event, including but not limited to injury by any cause, and releases management, facility, participants, artists, and their respective affiliates and representatives from any related claims.

  3. Ticket price reflects the total, all-in price you pay, inclusive of the face value of the ticket, facility fees, and any applicable taxes, displayed with the base price and fees itemized separately, consistent with applicable pricing-transparency requirements. Facility fees are not refundable. Prices, shows, artists, dates, and times are subject to change at any time without notice.

  4. Most shows have a limit of eight (8) tickets per show. Group sales can address requests above show ticket limits.

  5. Check the date and curtain time. Latecomers and those who exit during a performance will not be admitted until an appropriate interval. All sales are final; no refunds or exchanges, except as provided under Subscription Terms & Conditions for season subscribers, or as otherwise stated in these Terms & Conditions Standard Tickets & Subscriptions. Purchasing Ticket Refund Protection does not change this policy for the ticket itself — see “Ticket Refund Protection” below.

  6. Children under the age of two are subject to the age policy described under Theater Rules below.

  7. Ticket Sharing: Dr. Phillips Center's digital ticket platform allows you to share or transfer tickets to others at no cost, including to ensure each attendee has their own ticket for arrival or to give tickets as a gift. Ticket sharing involves no exchange of money. Sharing a ticket in exchange for payment is not permitted under this feature and remains subject to the resale rules under "Ticket Reselling / Secondary Market" below.

  8. Ticket Reselling / Secondary Market: Dr. Phillips Center offers an official resale feature through its digital ticket platform, allowing ticket holders to resell tickets they are unable to use. This is the only resale channel authorized by Dr. Phillips Center; resale through any other means remains subject to the $1 resale cap and consent requirement described below.

Pursuant to s. 817.36, Florida Statutes, this ticket may not be resold for more than $1 over the original admission price, except through Dr. Phillips Center's official resale program described above. This ticket does not authorize any individual or entity to sell or purchase tickets at any price on property where an event is being held without Dr. Phillips Center's prior express written consent. Tickets obtained from unauthorized sources may be lost, stolen, or counterfeit, and if so, are void.

Any maximum resale price, along with applicable fees, will be displayed on Dr. Phillips Center's digital ticket platform before a ticket is listed for sale.

  9. Ticket Refund Protection: Dr. Phillips Center offers optional Ticket Refund Protection for certain shows, administered by SecureMyBooking.com, a third party. SecureMyBooking.com, not Dr. Phillips Center, is responsible for administering Ticket Refund Protection and processing any claim. Ticket Refund Protection may not be available for every show or performance. Eligibility for a claim, and the reasons for which a claim may be filed, are determined solely by SecureMyBooking.com under its own terms, available at https://securemybooking.com/terms/usa/. Dr. Phillips Center has no role in approving, denying, or influencing any claim decision. Purchasing Ticket Refund Protection does not change Dr. Phillips Center's no-refund, no-exchange policy; any refund under Ticket Refund Protection is issued by SecureMyBooking.com under its terms.

  10. Ticket Lottery: From time to time, Dr. Phillips Center may offer tickets to select performances through a ticket lottery (the "Lottery"), governed by the Official Rules posted on the applicable Lottery Page, which are incorporated into these Terms & Conditions Standard Tickets & Subscriptions by reference.

Winners must complete their purchase within the window stated in the Official Rules, after which the prize may be forfeited. The standard eight (8) ticket limit above does not apply to Lottery tickets; limits are instead set on the Lottery Page. Lottery tickets are not eligible for transfer through the ticket sharing feature and may not be resold through the official resale program. Information collected in connection with a Lottery is used only by Dr. Phillips Center and the service providers acting solely on its behalf, is not shared with any Dr. Phillips Center partner or other third party, and is otherwise handled as described in our Privacy Policy.

Theater Rules

  1. Prohibition. Subject to applicable law and rules, smoking, vaping, cell phone usage, recording devices, iPads or other electronic equipment, and disorderly conduct are strictly prohibited. Any unpermitted use of a device by the ticket holder may result in the device being confiscated for the duration of the event. Outside food and beverage, weapons, illegal drugs, and other contraband are not permitted inside the theater. This prohibition does not apply to medical devices, assistive technology, or service animals. Please contact Dr. Phillips Center before the performance to request an exemption to certain prohibited items as an accommodation for those with disabilities, medical requirements, and/or special needs, including dietary needs; see our Privacy Policy for how information you provide in connection with such a request is used.

  2. Children Under 2. Children under the age of two are not permitted in the theaters unless otherwise noted as a child-friendly show. Everyone entering the theater must have a ticket, regardless of age. For the comfort and enjoyment of all guests, children who are disruptive to other guests will be asked to leave the seating area. Infants will not be allowed to attend Broadway performances.

  3. Security. Admission to Dr. Phillips Center requires consent to a reasonable search for prohibited items. Those who refuse to provide such consent may be required to leave the theater; their tickets will not be refunded and may be subject to revocation.

  4. Late Arrivals. Ticket holders who arrive after a performance begins are subject to late seating policies. No refunds will be given for late arrivals.

  5. Show Content. Some shows may contain profanity and/or explicit content intended for mature audiences. Ticket holders are responsible for determining whether show content is appropriate for them and their guests.

Health & Safety Protocols

Dr. Phillips Center or specific shows and events may implement health and safety protocols consistent with applicable law and authoritative public health guidance, which may include temperature checks and other screening measures. Consistent with Florida law, Dr. Phillips Center does not require patrons to provide documentation of vaccination or COVID-19 recovery status and does not require face masks or COVID-19 testing as a condition of entry. Subscription Terms & Conditions

Overview

As a subscriber to a season subscription, you'll receive upon payment a revocable personal license that allows you, the account holder, to purchase up to a certain number of tickets for the specified season, as well as other benefits. Tickets and subscriptions are revocable personal licenses that will admit you and/or your guest(s) to performances on specified dates and times. Revocation of subscriptions and tickets is made at the sole discretion of Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts, with or without cause and with or without notice, including without limitation for improper or abusive conduct by any ticket holder. Upon revocation, Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts shall refund the portion of the subscription price related to unused tickets.

Subscription Packages

  1. Renewals: Dr. Phillips Center, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to not renew any subscription or to change the seat location previously assigned. If you do not renew your subscription by the renewal deadline, the seat location specified in your subscription will be released for purchase by others. If you participate in a program that automatically renews your subscription for the next season, you have the opportunity to opt out of or cancel each renewal by a posted deadline.

  2. Upgrades: After the renewal deadline, subscribers may have the opportunity to upgrade their subscription package, including changing their assigned subscription seat location or performance day and time, subject to conditions and restrictions. Upgrades are only possible when seats become available when other subscribers cancel or do not otherwise renew their subscriptions. Upgrades, where available, are only possible for accounts with valid email addresses on file and are made through your online account or by phone. Upgrades are subject to price adjustment. Once your seats have been upgraded, your original seat location may be released for purchase by others. Upgrades may not be available for certain seating sections or performances.

  3. Exchanges: If you cannot attend a performance, you may request an exchange of tickets for a single performance for another performance of the same show. Subject to availability and certain restrictions or conditions related to certain shows or performances, exchange requests must be made at least 48 hours before the performance for which you are requesting an exchange. Exchanges are subject to price adjustments.

  4. Changing Subscriber's Name on Season Subscription: If requesting to split seats with another subscriber or to change the subscriber's name on your account, your request must be submitted in writing. In fairness to other renewing subscribers, we may not be able to honor all such account transfer requests. We may impose certain rules, restrictions, and conditions on account transfer requests, including documentation of any applicable conditions.

  5. Performance Changes or Cancellations: Care is taken to avoid scheduling conflicts or changes of any kind. However, prices, performances, schedules, theaters, and artists are subject to change without notice. If we are unable to present a show title that was part of your season subscription package on its originally scheduled date, or at all, due to circumstances beyond reasonable control, that show title may be substituted with another show. Should a show be cancelled without replacement, a refund or credit of the face amount on the ticket may be provided, and the subscription will not otherwise be affected.

  6. Seat Allocation: Allocation of seat locations is subject to available seating. Seating may be subject to relocation for a particular performance due to production requirements, limited or obstructed views, applicable law, public health or safety guidance, or other reasons.

  7. Orchestra Pit Seating: For certain performances, orchestra pit seating may become available without notice. While subscribers with seats in or near the front rows may be given an opportunity to exchange their existing subscription seating for such orchestra pit seating, those exchanges are made at the sole discretion of Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts, and if notice for such exchange is not provided due to time constraints, a subscriber is not entitled to a refund.
