The Dirty Dozen Brass Band

About the show

Grammy-winning Dirty Dozen Brass Band brings the spirit of New Orleans to Judson’s Live just in time for Mardi Gras. For nearly 50 years, this legendary ensemble has transformed traditional brass band music into a high-energy mix of bebop jazz, funk and R&B, creating what they call a “musical gumbo.”

Since forming in 1977, the band has performed in more than 30 countries and collaborated with artists including Norah Jones, Widespread Panic and Modest Mouse. Get ready for a rollicking night of Crescent City rhythms from one of New Orleans’ most celebrated musical exports.
